Juicing for Better Health
In a world where processed chemically laden junk food products seem to be the largest part of many people’s diets, it is so important to make an effort to add in some easy to prepare nutritious food in one’s daily food intake and fresh juice fits that description!
Drinking fresh vegetable and fruit juice can greatly increase your daily intake of antioxidants and these nutrients can increase your immunity to illness and disease.
By extracting the juice from a fruit or vegetable, you are taking the valuable nutrients, enzymes, vitamins and minerals without all the work of having your body to break down the fruit and vegetable fibers to get to the good stuff.
This is not to say that you should give up eating whole raw fruits and veggies - you still want to do that. Fresh juice is a just a great way to get a super-infusion of health giving nutrition delivered directly into your body - almost like an IV transfusion.
For many people, adding more fruits and vegetables to your diet is sometimes difficult. However, many juice enthusiasts have found that by juicing often they are able to achieve the desired 5 or more a day fruit and vegetable intake. And for those who have trouble chewing or swallowing, juicing is an excellent way to get vegetables and fruits into the diet.
Juicing is also a great way to cleanse your digestive system and remove poisonous toxic waste that may have built up from eating an unhealthy diet. Many people do juice detox cleanses for just that reason.
Doing a juice detox or juice cleanse has become very popular. For some they do a juicing detoxification method that is a strict juice fast and this involves abstaining from taking in any other foods, so with this fast your drinking fruit and vegetable juices only. Others choose to detoxify more slowly and gently by just adding fresh juice to their diet at the beginning of each day and then later eating whole raw fruits and vegetables throughout the afternoon until their dinner meal.
Juicing is enjoyed as a benefit to your health because it allows you to take in the nutrients of so many more fruits and vegetables in a concentrated manner. Research has made it clear that eating more fruits and vegetables is important for our health and with juicing it is just a super way to include them!
